How to take this medication
The drug should not be crushed, and you should take it with one full glass of water. It should be taken as advised by the doctor, and more than 300 mg of the drug should not be consumed in a day. You should not inhale or chew this, as you could face some dangerous side effects.

Side Effects

Marplan, Parnate, Nardil, Elavil and Tegretol are some of the drugs which will react with Tramadol. There are several others which will react as well.

Overdose
It is not at all safe if you take an overdose of Tramadol, and will be fatal, and medical attention must be sought at once. You will have many symptoms such as slow heartbeat, shallow breathing, drowsiness, weakness, skin will become clammy, and you may also faint or go into a coma.

Missed dose
You must take the missed dose when you remember, but you should not make it a double dose. You should ensure to take the medicine only when the prescription says so. If it is already time for your next dose, then you may skip the previous dose. It will be safer to do so.

Storage
The drug Tramadol has to be stored in a completely dry place, and should also be kept in a place where children cannot find them. An average temperature is required to store this drug.
