Uses
Cialis should not be taken more than once daily.
The medication should be administered as per the doctor's prescription only.
Dosage
The recommended starting dose of Cialis in most patients is 10 mg. This should be taken prior to anticipated sexual activity.
The dose may be increased to 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg, according to the doctor's advice.
Side effects
The most common side effects of cialis are headache, indigestion, back pain, flushing, and a stuffy or runny nose. These side effects usually go away after a few hours. Back pain and muscle ache can occur 12 to 24 hours after taking the drug, and the usually disappear after 48 hours.
Drug precautions
PDE5 inhibitors such as cialis may cause transiently low blood pressure. Any organic nitrate should be avoided for at least 48 hours after taking the last dose of cialis, to avoid increasing the risk of life-threatening hypotension.
However, patients should seek immediate medical attention if they experience any anginal pain. In the event of any medical emergency, medical personnel should be notified of the recent doses of cialis.
Overdose
The dosage should be as per the prescription only, but in case of an overdose, you should seek medical assistance immediately.
Miss dose
Cialis is taken only when needed. You can't miss a dose.
Storage
The medication needs to be stored in a cool, dry place.
